Claudia Sheinbaum warned that Donald Trump's tariffs would cause inflation and job losses in Mexico and the US and added that she would send a letter to the US president elect. Trump has announced on social media that he will impose a 25% tariff on 'ALL products coming into the United States' from Mexico and Canada as soon as he assumes office. He said the tariffs would remain in place until the two countries clamp down on drugs and people crossing the border illegally
