Marjorie Taylor Greene Makes The Damndest MAGA Hat Claim

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) capped her break from President Donald Trump with quite an observation on Monday.

"I can't remember the last time I saw someone wearing a maga hat or Trump shirt," she wrote on X.

The conservative firebrand-turned-Trump enemy shared an X post of pollster Rich Baris, who shared a photo of a Trump Superstore going out of business.

Greene may deserve a tip of the hat for her statement.

There's proof that MAGA merch is on the decline, given the closings of other Trump outlets, Slate reported.

Fast Company reported the closings of at least three independent Trump-themed stores this year and discounts appearing on the online Trump store.

There was a time when Greene's blonde hair flowing out of a red MAGA hat was a frequent sight.

Greene and Trump clashed over the Jeffrey Epstein files and the government shutdown last fall, leading Trump to brand her a traitor. In November, Greene announced she would resign from Congress. Her last day was in early January. In June, she said she was "done" with the Republican Party.
