Reflecting pool drama drags on

The reflecting pool drama is still going on – only it’s moved to the D.C. courthouse. After Trump’s $14 million renovation of the pool’s floor, authorities arrested Davey Hearn and charged him for allegedly damaging the pool, which he denies. US Attorney Jeanine Pirro and the DOJ later moved to dismiss their own case – but the way they dismissed the case means that charges can be brought back at any time. Hearn’s lawyers have filed a competing motion to have the charges dropped and permanently erased, and after a hearing Friday, a decision could be issued soon.
