Trump: 'The gag order has to come off'

Donald Trump insisted his gag order be lifted on Friday after prosecutors accused him of repeatedly violating it. Under the gag order issued last month by Justice Juan Merchan, the Manhattan judge presiding over the hush money trial, Trump is prohibited from making any public statements about potential witnesses “concerning their potential participation” in the case. Prosecutors filed motions this week to hold Donald Trump in contempt for social media posts they allege violated his gag order in the case. "The judge has to take off this gag order," Trump said.
